The annual line-up of Hallmark Christmas movies is a beloved holiday tradition in many households.
Christmas of 2018 was no exception.
Last year's holiday season brought with it plenty of new Hallmark Christmas movies. That list included several that are likely to become classics that will air year after year.
Keep reading to learn how the best Christmas movies on the 2018 Hallmark schedule compared.
Christmas at Pemberley Manor
Kicking off the 2018 Hallmark Christmas season was the sweet love story, Christmas at Pemberley Manor.
Pride and Prejudice fans will recognize Pemberley Manor as the home of the classic novel's dashing Mr. Darcy. So it should come as no surprise that this sweet love story was a loose modern rendition of the old tale.
The film's leading lady, Elizabeth Bennett, is an event planner from New York City. She finds herself on the east coast coordinating a big Christmas festival. Bennett convinces the new Mr. Darcy to let her use his home, Pemberley Manor, to host the festivities, despite his disdain for all things jolly.
Fans are already eagerly planning trips to the adorable Connecticut town where the movie was filmed!
Christmas Joy
It was only the second film on the countdown to Christmas movie schedule. But Christmas Joy stole viewers' hearts right from the start.
Busy market researcher Joy Holbrook starts the film working in D.C., waiting for a big promotion. When she gets an urgent phone call from home, she rushes to her hometown in North Carolina to help care for her aunt.
Recovering from surgery, her aunt is no longer able to fulfill her duties to the town's annual Christmas cookie walk. So Joy steps up to take her place and ends up reconnecting with an old crush.
Christmas at Graceland
Fans of "American Idol" finalist Kelly Pickler were thrilled to see this film on the lineup. It was the country music star's first shot at acting.
Christmas at Graceland is, of course, set in Memphis. Pickler's character is Laurel, a former musician turned businesswoman. She takes a trip to the Home of the Blues with her kids in tow and runs into a former flame.
In the end, she is reminded of what her life was like before fame took its toll.
And you won't have to worry about the authenticity of this film's setting. The movie was actually filmed at Graceland, Elvis Presley's former home, in Memphis, Tennessee.
When Calls the Heart Christmas
This was the fourth-holiday film to complement the beloved Hallmark TV series. Like all the films When Calls the Heart Christmas brought back Abigail, Elizabeth, and the rest of the Hope Valley crew.
The group came together to create some holiday magic for a group of orphans stranded in a frontier town.
The film also excited fans because it was the first time they saw a pregnant Elizabeth now that her husband is gone. He died off-screen after the actor who played him left the show
